The Easter Bunny brought her very fun colored hair extensions with matching nail polish.
She was pretty amazed the bunny knew she prefers milk chocolate to dark chocolate.
Our friend Missy makes a bunny carrot cake each year. This year the head fell off. Headless bunny cake was still delicious.
Easter Bunny cream puffs stuffed with custard, whipped cream and strawberries then drizzled with chocolate. Oh my!
Missy's Easter decorations. She has a lovely home so it was no surprise she had an assortment of decorations for the occasions. It was so nice to be invited and to spend the day relaxing while someone else handled the details.
We had a handful of calls from friends. None from family. It seems like the concept of calling the people you love on holidays has gone by the wayside with the availability of contact afforded by our current technology. There's not so much getting together, not so much reaching out. More side effects of a technologically based culture that is bringing us closer than ever in the sharing of information but not really serving to connect us emotionally.
Peter Cottontail has come and gone and the myth lives on another year. Will she still believe next year? I'm curious to see.
